Do you distribute PDF files ?
Even though PDF format remains relevant in certain contexts, it cannot be considered to be the only format for e-books.
The ePub format is now indispensable for publishers who wish to sell books using major resellers:
the principle of the multi-format offering is a compromise that meets this requirement while allowing readers
who prefer PDF to purchase it from an independent bookstore without having to choose between the two.
Can you convert my PDF files to ePub format ?
File creation is a core business in its own right in which we do not specialise.
We recommend you ask professional manufacturers, digital distributors or,
if you are so inclined, you can create your own files using adapted software.
What is the KF8 or mobipocket format ?
KF8 or mobipocket format is the Amazon proprietary format.
This format, which has fewer features than ePub format, is nonetheless mandatory if you want your books to be stocked by this reseller.
But since this is a very simple format, conversion form ePub can easily be automated and we always make it available to our publishers.
Do you distribute enriched ePub files ?
Like PDF format, today the ePub3 format remains limited to a small number of media.
Before you commit to a costly development procedure, we recommend you familiarise yourself with the marketing possibilities of this format.
How long will it take for my book to be on sale in bookstores ?
The average time for books to become available online is about 48h, but this can be shorter or longer depending on the reseller.
You can track online availability via a tool available for this purpose using our interface.
Is your distribution contract exclusive ?
As our sales model is based on commissions, we cannot distribute à la carte which would exclude certain resellers.
If you sign a contract with us, your books will be distributed through all our partners.
I represent a bookstore and would like to sell e-books. How can I do this ?

Which type of protection do you recommend for my e-books ?
We manage all types of protection, but this post that we wrote on our
blog in 2010 is still up to date.
Our experience as a bookseller has convinced us of the inefficiency of DRM and in particular its negative impact on independent bookstores,
which is why we generally recommend more flexible protection such as watermarks.
What is your financial model ?
